Writer Nádas Inducted into Berlin Academy of Arts

Manea, who was born in Romania, has lived in New York since 1986. Mosebach, best known as a storyteller and critic, lives in Frankfurt.

Nádas, together with Imré Kertész and Péter Esterházy are among the best-known contemporary Hungarian writers in Germany. Among Nádas?s works translated into German is his A Book of Memories. Nádas was also the recipient of the Leipzig Book Prize in 1993.

The Hungarian writer György Konrád was active in the Berlin Academy of Arts for six years between 1997 and 2003.
