The work was on display in the Mai Manó House in Budapest in February-March of last year, the Balogh Rudolf Prize-winning photographer said. Unintended Light was also among 25 exhibitions of work that went on display last year in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, as part of an event organised by the International Union of Photographers.

Vancsó said the black-and-white images were created using both analogue and digital technology.

?It could be said the type of work is subjective reports, of which André Kertész was the great master, and the main player in the photos is the light,? he said.

Vancsó said he ?buried himself? in the books of Miklós Mészöly when he took the pictures, at the end of the last decade and attached a quote from the author to each image.

Vancsó?s work has been shown in more than 40 exhibitions in Hungary and abroad.
