Culture and economy in general, the relationship between culture and state as well as financing issues will be the subjects of round-table conferences between domestic and Russian experts scheduled for the first half of next year to take place in Sarospatak (N Hungary), Hiller told reporters following the talks.
Istvan Hiller said that Russia would contribute works of art to a planned exhibition in the Hungarian National Museum entitled Scythian Treasures, while Hungarian museums would lend Old Masters from their collections to exhibitions in Russia. In 2010, an exhibit famous impressionist paintings owned by Russian museums will be lent to Budapest's Museum of Fine Arts, he added.
