Fatboy Slim Moves Festival-goers in Budapest

English

Fatboy Slim's perfectly constructed sets amazed many in the audience and inspired even more to dance. Like a true electric guru, he made the audience do whatever he wanted, like a puppet master controlling his marionettes.

The show included many of Fatboy Slim's early hits, but also material off of his latest album, Here Lies Love, a collaboration with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne said to be inspired in part by the life of Imelda Marcos. He expanded on and reinterpreted his own material as well as some of the covers he played.

Those who couldn't make it to the Sziget show missed perhaps Budapest's best disco ever.
