Guests at Eszterháza Draws Big Crowds

The concerts included performances by the Haydn Quartet from Austria, who played works by Haydn, Schubert and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.

 
Jo Haazen

, the director of Belgium's Royal Carillon School, played the world's only travelling carillon, performing works by Haydn, Mozart, Matthias Van Den Gheyn, Josse Boutmy, Ignace Joseph Pleyel, Jean-Philippe Rameau and Luigi Boccherini.

 
Capella Augustina from the German city of Brühl, performed symphonies by Haydn and Mozart as well as the overture to Philemon und Baucis, under the baton of Andreas Spering.
 
 
Some of the best singers from the Visegrad Four - Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland - also performed works by Haydn as part of the series.
