Szabó was joined at the festival by the Hungarian directors Bence Fliegauf and Marcell Jankovics.
The Summer Film School?s ?Focus? section paid homage to Hungarian films this year. The programme featured everything from early silent films to classics directed by the likes of Péter Bacsó, Zoltán Fábri, István Gaál, Zoltán Huszárik, Miklós Jancsó, András Kovács, Károly Makk and Pál Sándor.
The ?Focus? section was supported by the Hungarian Film Union, the international section of the Hungarian National Film Fund.
More than 160 features were screened at the Summer Film School.
