The tour will take the orchestra to the cities of San Sebastian, Girona, Barcelona, Valencia and Pamplona.
On the programme will be Liszt's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2, in A major, played by Dezső Ránki, orchestrations of Liszt's piano works by Zoltán Kocsis, Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra, Kodály's Dances from Galánta and György Kurtág's Compilation from Messages for Orchestra, op. 34 and New Messages for Orchestra, op. 34/a.
The Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra has toured Spain several times before.
