The troupe will perform John the Valiant, directed by István Pinczés, on August 2. The piece will be performed in Hungarian with Japanese and English supertitles.
The 13-member troupe aims to establish new ties and learn new techniques during their visit to Japan. They will hold three of their own workshops and hope to attend others organised by their peers at the festival.
Performers from 19 countries around the world will participate at this year?s event.
The Griff Puppet Theatre will return on Hungary on August 6.
