In addition to the National Dance Theatre, Hungary will also be represented by the BLOOM! Dance Collective, the Éva Duda Dance Company, the L1 Association, the Symptoms ensemble, the Workshop Foundation, the Touchpoint Art Foundation, and András Pataki and the Szeged Contemporary Ballet, artistic manager of the National Dance Theatre Orsolya Nagy said.

The Internationale Tanzmesse DRW in Düsseldorf is the most important professional dance event in Europe and the National Dance Theatre of Hungary, like in the past eight years, will again use the opportunity to promote Hungarian dance at this international forum, Nagy said. Tanzmesse is a good place to build personal contacts and its diverse list of performances and showcases provide an opportunity for professionals to assess the Hungarian productions, she added.

The organisers of the fair consider it important that dance should be represented not only as a commodity but also as a form of art and career path. In addition to screenings of dance films and photo exhibitions, the programme also includes international discussions and a youth section.

The official programme includes the BLOOM! Dance Collective?s performance City. The Éva Duda Dance Company will bring two outdoor performances featuring Zoltán Grecsó to Düsseldorf.
