The festival, which starts Wednesday, will feature concerts by Zoltán Kocsis, the Russian Boris Berezovsky, Károly Mocsári, the Swiss duo of Adrienne Soós and Ivo Haag, István Kassai, the 17-year-old László Váradi and festival founder and director Adrienne Hauser.

In light of the number of festival-goers who have come from nearby Tokaj in recent years, Hauser said the festival would ?travel? to Tokaj where she will play a concert in the refurbished synagogue.

Hauser said the renovation of the Andrássy Palace, which is the venue for many of the concerts on the programme, had been completed, although it remains unfurnished.
