Hungarian performers will include the Gryllus brothers and Agi Szaloki in world music, while a "klezmer marathon" will feature the Budapest Klezmer Bank, Pannonia Klezmer Bank as well as the Slovak Pressburger and Polish Max Klezmer Band.
Israeli countertenor David D'Or will sing in the Dohany street synagogue, and Dudu Fisher, also from Israel, will give a musical show on September 7 to mark the 60th anniversary of the birth of Israel.
The Rumbach street synagogue will await classical music fans with a Yiddis song evening with Moldovan-born Vira Lozinsky and Regina Driker and an evening by one of Italy's best Renaissance music groups, the Ensemble Lucidarium.
A concert by the Millenium Brass Quintett will mark the European Day of Jewish Culture on September 7, the organiser said.
