As of Monday, 40 more screenings had been added to the programme, including showings of Lora and Opium.
In the Film Week competition were17 feature films, 39 documentaries, 30 experimental and short films and 9 nature and educational films. The documentaries were shown in the first two days of the event. These were followed by the experimental and short films, then the feature films. The films were shown at three venues in Budapest: House of Future, the Palace Mammut Cinema and the Uránia Cinema
Film Week prizes will be awarded at a ceremony on Tuesday evening.
Commercial television broadcaster TV2 has said it will offer HUF 25 million to the director of the best film to put toward the cost of a co-production with it.
