Alice in Chains is the best known grunge bands alongside Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. After a long hiatus, as well as the death of co-founder Layne Stanley in 2002, the band, led by Jerry Cantrell, has recorded a new album, Black Gives Way to Blue, to be released on September 29.
Alice in Chains has sold more than 30 million albums.
