Argentinean singers win Bartok 13th international choir competition

The Argentinean women's group, which is the chamber choir of the UNCuyos choir, won the main prize after coming first in their category. 

 
The mixed choir category was won by the University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors, which was also the runner-up in the main event.
 
Around 1,000 singers in ensembles from four continents took part in the competition and the participants will join together in the evening to sing Kodaly's Budavar Te Deum and Handel's Hallelujah chorus.
