The three-day festival starting on Friday will put into the spotlight the art of India, a country where "traditions live on strongly" in close coexistence with contemporary culture, said Marta Szilagyi organiser.
In the Erlin Gallery visitors can see works by graphic artist Bibekananda Santra, while on Saturday the Sterling Gallery will feature the works of Indian gold and silversmiths', she said.
Programmes also include concerts with Hungarian musicians reciting classical tunes from India playing on the traditional sitar and tabla.
The three-day festival will be held in downtown Raday street in galleries and show-rooms, in cafes and in the streets.
In the past years the Plein-Art festival featured the art of Italy, Japan and China.
