A Művész moziban indul az idei Temps d'Images - Képek Ideje Fesztivál egy színes és izgalmas filmválogatással, amelyben Eötvös Péter Három nővér operafilmje, több táncfilm (Russell Maliphant, William Forsythe és Saburo Teshigawara koreográfiái) és egy Heiner Goebbelsről szóló portréfilm és is helyet kap.
The 2007 Temps d'Images Festival which focuses on visual and performing arts starts with a special treat: projection of ARTE films which can only be seen once in Művész film theatre. The three day long programme presents dance-films (the choreographies of Russell Maliphant, William Forsythe and Saburo Teshigawara), an opera-film of Péter Eötvös in three sequences, and a documentary of Heiner Goebbels.

Russell Maliphant a kortárs brit táncélet egyik legkiemelkedőbb alakja, akivel a Trafó közönsége már több ízben élőben is találkozhatott. A koreográfus idén februárban három munkáját hozta el hozzánk, az idei Temps d'images fesztivál alkalmával pedig legsikeresebb darabjaiból készített táncfilmjét láthatjuk. Utazás ez az alkotás a szó szoros értelmében: térben és időben, melyben Maliphant négy koreográfiáján keresztül tekint vissza több mint egy évtized munkájára.
Russell Maliphant is one of the most eminent figures of the British contemporary dance scene. In february 2007 the choreographe already presented three of his works to the hungarian public. This time the festival Temps d'image gives us a special opportunity to watch a dance film made of his most successful works. This creation is a journey in the highest sense of the word: in time and space, through which Maliphant looks back through four choreographies to more than one decade of work.

A One flat thing, reproduced időzített bombaként robbant fel műfaji és térbeli kereteket egyaránt, hogy egy radikálisan új és merész koncepció alapján rendezze újra össze egy darabjaira hullott világ elemeit. A kísérletező kedvéről és szakmai felkészültségéről méltán híres William Forsythe ezúttal sem okoz csalódást azoknak, akik hisznek a művészet valóságformáló és -teremtő erejében.
The dance film busts the limits of genre and space like a time-bomb. All this in order to reorganise the elements of this world fallen apart by a radically new and audacious conception. William Forsythe is noted for his professional expertise and his liking for experimentation all around the world and will certainly not disappoint those who believe in the formative and creative effect of art on reality.

Teshigawara legfőbb törekvése a "szépség új formájának" megtalálása. A küldetés nem céljában, sokkal inkább módjában különleges és újító, hiszen a koreográfus ideálját valahol a képzőművészetek, a zene és a tánc ötvözésében képzeli. Így jön létre Teshigawara csak rá jellemző, sajátos forma- és gondolatvilága, melynek kulcsfontosságú eleme a határokat nem ismerő művészi szabadság és kreativitás, illetve a tökéletes iránti olthatatlan vonzalom.
Above all Teshigawara's aim is to find a 'new form of beauty'. This mission is special and innovative not in its goal, but much more in the way the choreographer tries to reach his ideal: by the combination of fine arts, music and dance. This is how this very particular universe comes off, the basic elements of wich are liberty in arts, creativity and the unappeasable longing after perfection.

A mai ember borúlátása és a három nővér melankóliája ugyanabban a századvégi érzékenységben gyökerezik. Legalábbis a zeneszerző olvasatában, aki kortársai tenyerében Olga, Irina és Mása sorsát látja kirajzolódni. Eötvös Péter operája nem a csehovi dráma zenei adaptációja, sokkal inkább egy hangulat, egy életérzés lenyomata. Az élményt a zenekar megkettőzése, az énekesek kontratenor hangszíne és a japán kabukira emlékeztető előadásmód teszi garantáltan felejthetetlenné.
The pessimism of today's man and the melancholy of the three sisters take root in the same sensibility of fin de si?cle. At least that's what Eötvös Péter thinks by watching the destiny of Olga, Irina and Mása appearing in his peers' palms. Instead of being the musical adaption of Tshechov's drama, this opera is much more the imprint of a way of thinking and feeling. The unforgetable experience is garanteed by the duplication of the orchestra, the presentation reminding Japanese kabuki, and the exceptional tone of the singers, called countertenor.

A Frankfurtban élő és alkotó Heiner Goebbels korunk egyik legnagyobb zeneszerzője, aki 1968 után, politikai tartalmú dalszerzéssel kezdte munkásságát. Az alkotó hangvétele azóta sokat változott, de ma is úgy tartja, rengeteget köszönhet szociológiai tanulmányainak, hiszen ez a fajta látásmód teszi azóta is lehetővé számára, hogy távolságot tudjon tartani önmaga és művei között. A dokumentumfilm Goebbels több évtizedes zeneszerzői tevékenységére tekint vissza, melyet a soha nem szűnő megismerésvágy és az ebből fakadó kísérletezőkedv tesz olyan egyedivé és különlegessé.
Heiner Goebbels is one of the best composers of today. He works in Frankfurt and started his career after 1968 by writing songs with strong political content. Since then his way of creating has changed a lot, but he still thinks that his social studies helped him to keep distance between him and his pieces. The documentary looks back to several decades of this very original and particular artistic activity that roots in the unappeasable appetite of experimenting and getting to know the world.
