The ballet showing the life and work of the Catalan master in a two-part choreography by Hungary's renowned Gyor Ballet group will be the opening event of the six-day festival.
The ballet, choreographed by Spain's Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, is based on the script the architect's acquaintance, Gaudy Babette offered to the Gyor group for stage more than two years ago, Gyor Ballet director Janos Kiss said.
Gaudí is renowned for his exceptional and outstanding creative contribution to the development of architecture and building technology in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
