Batsheva Dance Company Performs on Budapest Spring Festival Day One

Founded by Martha Graham and Baroness Batsheva de Rotschild in 1964, the company has become one of the world?s most popular dance ensembles. The company, which draws on the talents of Israeli and foreign dancers alike, books some 200 performances in Israel and around the world each year.

In 1990, Ohad Naharin became the company?s artistic director, opening a new era for the ensemble.
