Tarlós said Hungary?s relationship with China was extremely important, and the capital wished to contribute to the connection. He added that both sides had worked hard to establish the sister city agreement.
The agreement establishes connections in the areas of municipal operations, environmental protection, education, culture and media, and it ?opens the gate? to expanding ties in the areas of trade and business, Tarlós said.
The agreement was approved unanimously by the local council of Budapest, he noted.
