The festival will open with a screening of Jasmine Dellal?s The American Gypsy, which won the prize for best documentary at the San Francisco Film Festival. The screening will be the film?s Hungarian premiere.
The screening will be complemented by performances by the musical acts L.L. Junior, Sándor Lázi, the Romano Glaszo group, the Qerinek group, Krisztián Lakatos and Dávid Csányi.
The painter István Szentandrássy, who was awarded the Kossuth Prize, Hungary?s highest honour for artists, this year, will deliver a speech.
