The BFO will perform at Seitoku University on June 16, in Toyama on June 17, in Sasebo on June 19 and in Osaka on June 20. The tour will continue in Tokyo with a performance at Opera City Concert Hall on June 21, to be followed by concerts in Obihiro on June 22 and Omiya on June 23.
The orchestra will play works by Brahms, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Rossini. The BFO will be joined by the violinists Mayuko Kamio and József Lendvay, playing concertos by Mendelssohn and Brahms, respectively.
