This year marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Hungarian composer and pianist.
Festival director Emőke Új said the event helps locals as well as visitors to the resort city to get to know the growing Hungarian community. The festival started out as a single concert highlighting Hungarian music but has grown into a series of events at four different venues across the city, she added.
Among the performers at the concerts will be Péter Balatoni and Rodolfo Ritter.
