The popular Israeli actress Anat Barzilay is performing Samira, which shows a a 60-minute integration of the title character, a woman who tried to blow herself up in a crowded cafe. The piece is directed by Elinor Agam Ben-David, who studied jazz in Paris before taking up theatre directing in Tel Aviv.
Marcin Zarzeczny of the Chance Company from Poland is performing Jeppe, which is based on Lars von Trier?s screenplay Idiots. The piece, which has already been seen at theatre festivals in Turkey, the Czech Republic, Albania and Poland, is directed by Ewa Kaleta.
