The National Association of Cultural Centres (KKOSZ) is organising a network of information points about the Pécs2010 programme.
A big part of Pécs's application for the 2010 European Capital of Culture title was the city's aim to show that Hungary's cultural scene is not as highly centralised in Budapest as one might think. And members of KKOSZ, which is based in Pécs, attest to this.
A homepage for the Pécs2010 programme has also been launched, with the cooperation of Microsoft Hungary, said programme director Csaba Ruzsa. Visitors can search the programme for the year or even take a virtual walk around the city.
