The certificate of merit was awarded by the city of Vienna, the Chamber of Commerce and the Vienna Convention Bureau.
The certificate of merit is not only an acknowledgement of the conference, but of Hungary?s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2011, the Collegium Hungaricum-Balassi Institute said.
The conference, entitled "Danube+. New dimensions, new synergies", was held on March 10-11. It focused on the initiative of the Danube Cultural Cluster.
Almost 300 people from 20 countries attended the conference.
