Cinema Total Second Edition will feature exhibitions, receptions, special screenings, workshops, roundtable talks and meetings between Hungarian and German film professionals as well as film industry insiders from around the world.
In focus at the event will be the German Hungarian Film Agreement, signed in February 2008. The agreement creates incentive for the exchange of films between the two countries.
The festival's organisers aim to draw people to the Collegium Hungaricum who can offer international opportunities to Hungarian film industry professionals.
One of the highlights of the opening of the festival will be a VJ set by the famous British film director Peter Greenaway. Greenaway will be joined by the Hungarian electronic musician Yonderboi.
The festival will close with a performance of chansons by Hanna Schygulla.
