Lajkó will perform at the Michael Schimmel Art Center at New York's Pace University as part of the River to River Festival. He will be joined by the viola player Antal Brasnyo.
The Hungarian Cultural Center in New York will open an exhibition of work by three contemporary Hungarian painters, Katalin Haász, Luca Korodi and Eszter Radák, represented by the Judit Virág Gallery on May 28. Also on display will be sculptures by Louise MyCagg and the photographs of Mónika Sziládi.
An exhibition of photographs documenting the everyday lives of Hungary's Jewish community between 1870 and 1940 will open the 92Y Tisch Center for the Arts in New York on June 2. The show will run until July 5.
