The National Philharmonic Orchestra |
The orchestra, under the baton of Zoltán Kocsis, will perform Beethoven's Missa Solemnis at the concerts. They will feature the soloists Eszter Sümegi, Viktória Mester, István Horváth and István Kovács.
The National Philharmonic Orchestra has been a UNICEF Ambassador since 2006. Music director Zoltán Kocsis received the ambassador's appointment from British actor Roger Moore, who also worked with the orchestra to act as a narrator in Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf.
