David Byrne to Play Budapest

English

The concert, entitled songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno, will feature work from the two composers' second album together: Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.

The album, which is a blend of electronic and gospel music, is Byrne's and Eno's second joint effort since 1981's My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.

Byrne formed Talking Heads in the mid-70s with a classmate from the Rhode Island School of Design. Byrne dropped out of the school early on to follow his musical career.

During his time with Talking Heads, Byrne took on other projects, such as the first album with Eno, which was considered groundbreaking for its use of sampling.

Byrne also established a world music record label which released the work of artists such as Cornershop, Os Mutantes, Los De Abajo, Jim White, Tom Zé and Los Amigos Invisibles.
