The runner-up Prix Hungarica was awarded to Sophie Rauszer for her dissertation entitled ?The Issue of Hungarian Citizenship in Slovakia, an Analysis of the Hungarian Legal Amendment of May 26, 2010 on Simplified Procedure for Acquiring Citizenship?. The acknowledgment came with a 2,000 euro purse.
The awards were presented by Francois Nicoullaud, the former French ambassador to Hungary and the head of the Hungarian Institute?s Friendship Society.
The Prix Hungarica, established in 2004, is supported by Electricité de France (EDF) and the Cardif Company which is a member of the BNP Paribas group.
