Participants may submit a digital scan or photograph of one picture representing ?Space and Aeronautics? between September 1 and November 15, 2011
?You can create your picture using any drawing, painting, or colouring technique that you like. You can use all sorts of materials like paints, felt tips, pencils, glue, glitter. The main thing is that you use a big dollop of imagination,? say the contest organisers.
In addition to Hungary, the contest is open to 9- to 11-year-olds in 24 other European Union members states. The contest was held earlier in Belgium and Bulgaria. Two Galileo Programme Satellites to be launched on October 20 bear the names of the winners: Thijs from Belgium and Natalia from Bulgaria.
