Zsuzsa Kemenesi's take

The images are spread all over the institute, on the ground floor, in the gallery above, in the cellar and even on the glass ceiling above the reception area. There are not many pictures in the show, entitled Reality on Cloud 9, and they are not large either ? one must get close to the photographs of Zsuzsanna Kemenesi on the wall in the reception area in order to see them ? but they have a big impact.

The rain falls on the glass ceiling, but Ágnes Szabics?s colourful and revealing flower images resist it. The images embrace their environment in Brussels just as Szabics?s work has in Debrecen?s MODEM or the reception area of the Millenáris in Budapest. The transparent flower pictures appear as a kind a street art, allowing us to see the other side, but changing it as well.

Enikő Hangay's take

Gabriella Csoszó?s portraits of people with their eyes shut as well as group pictures rewrite the traditions of art history on the ground floor of the institute. Enikő Hangay examines the connection between mother and child on daily walks in her ?mother ship? series.

Viola Fátyol, Transcendence

Viola Fátyol?s images show the most exciting moments. The irrationality of real space rises to the surface in her images which highlight rather than configure.

Reality on Cloud 9 runs until September 3.
