The two-week celebration of Jewish culture, organized by the Atelier Theatre, will feature klezmer and world music acts from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Russia and the US, in addition to Hungary and Poland.
This year's festival will pay tribute to Agnieszka Osiecka, a translator of Yiddish literature who died ten years ago.
In addition to singing with a band, Bíró has played roles in productions of the musicals The Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon. She also starred in Diana Groó's film Miracle in Krakow.
On Thursday, Bíró will sing with Fodo (drums, percussion, piano), Edina "Mókus" Szirtes (violin, accordion) and Arnold Anton (guitar).
