The collection showing the rare editions in languages such as Ukrainian, Belarusian, Spanish, Basque, Tatar, Breton, Tigrinya, Lingala, Thai, Chinese, Swahili, Maori, Fijian and Navaho is on loan from a local linguist Norbert Kiss.
Kiss began collecting copies of the Bible at the age of 17, when he received his first copy from the president of Iceland in Icelandic.
One of the most unique pieces is a copy from Micronesia's Yap Island, which is the only edition in the world that begins with the New Testament.
