"I have challenged?one-sided ideas and the pressure to apply rules to my works. The works in progress may equally lead to completion and challenge, and even self-destruction. Thus suspecting the realisation of a given idea also gives reason for doubt, and the often diabolic urge to keep things incomplete and to destroy them may give rise to the tension that carries those piece of art," Gáyor says, explaining his work.
Gáyor has adopted a technique in which he shapes his canvases into different forms, applies it to a base sheet, makes incisions, then allows the product to ?float freely?.
