The list of performers at this year?s Europe Jazz Bridge will include Hungarian scat master Tamás Berki, the violin virtuoso Zoltán Lantos with Hammondárium, and the celebrated drummer Elemér Balázs?s group with US guests Norbert Marius on bass and Tim Ries on saxophone.
The festival lineup also includes the Csanyi-Lattmann Quartet and Kornél Horváth, the Babos Project Special with saxophonist László Dés, as well as Nikoletta Szőke and József Horváth Barcza. The free open-air festival will be concluded with a show by The Syndicate, set up by the late Joe Zawinul of Weather Report fame.
After-parties will be held at the Budapest Jazz Club featuring the Szakcsi Jr. Trio and at the Szabad az Á... featuring the Kálmán Oláh Sextet and Sugárka Enyedi.
