The event will feature a performance by the excellent folk music ensemble Arasinda, and Turkish cuisine will be provided by Budapest's Szeráj Restaurant.
Children are invited to participate in arts and crafts workshops where they can try their hand at Turkish ceramic motifs or draw with henna.
The ethnographer Júlia Bartha will talk about folk life in Turkey, and a Turkish book stand will offer Turkish language dictionaries as well as books by Orhan Pamuk.
Two language schools that offer Turkish courses - Selyemút and Effy - will be present at the event which will also feature a crafts sale.
