Foreign Acts on VeszprémFest Bill

The Grammy-winning songwriter, singer and guitarist Gilberto Gil, from Brazil, will open the festival on July 27.
 
On the festival?s second day, funk and acid jazz fans can hear London?s Incognito and the Scandinavian band Nils Landgren Funk Unit.
 
Hungarian stars will be in no short supply either. Concerto Budapest will take the stage with Amadinda and Ferenc Snétberger on July 29.
 
The festival will close with a show on Saturday by Mory Kanté from Guinea.
 
In addition to the main programme, VeszprémFest will offer a performance of The Emperor?s New Clothes, a children?s opera, on July 26; and the Auer Symphony?s youth orchestra will play on July 31.
