Four Hungarian films compete at Trieste int'l festival

Award winning director Kornel Mundruczo's family drama "Delta" set in the Danube delta competes for the Trieste Award for best feature film going with 5,000 euros.

 
The short titles contesting for the 2,500-euro best short film award include Ildiko Enyedi's film essay "First Love" and Daniel Beres' "Mortar" about a friendship of Thomas and Pali breaking down after the collapse of the Berlin wall.
 
The dialogue-free documentary of Andras Salamon's "Tell Your Children" is about a little girl surviving the 1945 Budapest murder of Jews on the Danube bank by the Arrow Cross.
 
The festival this year is premiering 150 recent productions and will close on Thursday.
