Győr Hosts Sepp Laubner Exhibition

English

Laubner said most of the 28 paintings on display had been made in the past year and a half, but the oldest was from ten years ago.

Laubner said he had always aspired to express happiness and a zest for life in his works, and it was no accident that he used intensive colours in most of his paintings.

Laubner was born in Eisenstadt in 1949. He studied at the Academy of Art in Vienna and established the Cselley Mill ?action centre? in the village of Oslip in Burgenland in 1976.

His paintings last showed in Győr in 1991.
