Falusi will sing at the Galapagos Art Space as part of the Cabaret Magyar series on Friday. The programme she will bring was inspired by a book by the writer and journalist Kati Marton called The Great Escape: Nine Jews Who Fled Hitler and Changed the World, about Hungarian Jews who escaped the Holocaust and made a big impact on science and the arts.
Before the show, Falusi will perform at Café Sabarsky in the Neue Galerie. And in the following week she will sing at an event in the Drom, part of the CMJ Music Marathon.
Falusi will be accompanied by Péter Sárik (piano) and Edina "Mókus" Szirtes (violin and accordion).
