Festival organisers Zoltán Fülöp and Norbert Lobenwein said attendance nearly reached last year?s record level, in spite of cost cuts because of the economic downturn.
A performance by David Guetta drew about 25,000 fans on Saturday. Guetta, who returned to the Balaton Sound for the third time, said the festival was his favourite.
On Sunday, festival-goers watched the World Cup finals before Jamiroquai took the stage. Jay Kay wound up the evening.
