The delegation of journalists from the Beijing Youth Daily and Cultural Exchange, the Xinmin Evening News, the Shanghai Daily and Hong Kong's Commercial Daily, will stay in Hungary for one week as guests of the ministry. During their stay, the journalists will visit several exhibitions, attend cultural events, see a rehearsal by the Honvéd Ensemble, and visit the Zoltán Kodály Music School, the Chinese multilingual school and ELTE University's Confucius Institute. They will also travel to the Gödöllő Palace and Lake Balaton as well as meet a number of important Hungarian cultural personalities.
The Chinese journalists have expressed interest in learning more about plans to develop cultural exchanges between Hungary and China as well as events planned for the Hungarian cultural season in China.
