The motto of this year?s convention is "Simply Architecture". The organisers say they want to go ?beyond the meaning of simple, simply, simplistic, pure architecture? and seek ?the origin of built beauty?.
?We will ask if simple architecture is ethically more than minimalism? In this uncertain period the building, the creation in itself is more valuable, as more rare. Using our more and more limited resources ? architecture has to become more and more respectful and responsible. Should and will it lead to simplicity??
Lecturers at this year?s convention are Vincze László (Budapest), Anu Puustinen (Avanto, Helsinki), Herwig Spiegl (Alleswirdgut, Bécs), Dan Phillips (The Phoenix Commotion, Texas) and Stephan Behnisch (Behnisch Architekten, Stuttgart).
The official language of the convention is English. Simultaneous interpretation into Hungarian will be provided.
