The pope will distribute 5,000 of the gilded bronze and silver coins as gifts during the trip.
Oláh, who holds the Italian President's "commendatore" order, is the first Hungarian to teach at Milan's Brera Academy of Fine Art. She has had a number of exhibitions in New York and at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. A statue of Cardinal Alfred Schuster by Oláh was erected in the Milan Dom in 1998. Her work Blood Donors was unveiled in the city in 1994.
