Many renowned musicians have joined Amnesty International's campaign, including R.E.M., Snow Patrol, Black Eyed Peas, Cure and Avril Lavigne.

Kimnowak leader Péter Novák has invited the band's former singer Orsi Kozma to perform a new version of the band's 1996 hit Diamonds at the A38 concert. The song originally appeared on the band's most successful album Black Noise and a maxi version released in January 1996 was at the top of the Hungarian charts for months.

In addition to Kimnowak, the lineup will include Ladánybene 27, the Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band, the Kingston Cruisers, PASO's Roots Rockers and Love Alliance. All of the performers will protest discrimination, especially that which affects the Roma community in Hungary.

Amnesty International says segregated schools for Roma children pose a severe problem for the entire region, including Hungary, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.

None of the performers will receive any compensation for the performance. Instead, all revenue from tickets will be used to fight discrimination and protect human rights.
