The ABC Talent Search, which is being promoted by Magyar Zeneatlasz and Budapest.Rock.N.Roll, will take place at the A38 ship, an events venue docked on the Danube. The 40 finalists, some of whom have been selected from talent competitions at Hungary?s many summer music festivals, such as Sziget, Volt, Wan 2 Festival and AZFESZT, will compete to take part in the semi-finals in four rounds, with two bands to be selected from each round.
Last year?s finalists for the ABC Talent Search were Esclin Syndo, Everflash, Honey Bee, Moog, Nuke, Pozvakowski, Solution, The Dethroners, The Trousers and Watch My Dying.
The Austrian Band Contest has provided a showcase for new talent for more than twenty years.
