Zoób became the first Hungarian to participate at Shanghai Fashion Week - held between October 20 and 26 - on the invitation of Li Jianqin.
Zoób's brand Katti Zoób and Li Jianqin's brand Qinyi are based on similar principles, combining tradition with the contemporary to create fashion. Both designers showed their pr?t-a-porter and haute couture collections back to back at a show on October 26. They topped it off with a joint design dubbed Harmony. Zoób and Li Jianqin plan to continue their cooperation in the future.
Li Jianqin was introduced to Zoób on a trip to Hungary, at the invitation of the Ministry of Education and Culture, in 2008.
Zoób gave a talk at the Fashion Institute of Donghua University on October 28 which drew a big crowd. The designer's trip to Shanghai was supported by the Balassi Institute.
