The cooperation will involve the exchange of works and composers, Hollós said.
Every country will offer to the others works by contemporary composers and everyone will ?import? from the others? offers, he explained. The selected international compositions will always be presented paired with a Hungarian composition, he added.
Hollós said the results of the cooperation -- to be financed with European Union resources -- would be seen already in the coming concert season.
The association wants to bring contemporary works to new audiences, thus it plans to organise performances in museums and schools.
Hollós, who has headed the Hungarian Composers Association since 1996, was re-elected chairman at the meeting on Monday.
