The highlight of the festival, organised by the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Sofia and the municipality of Sozopol, will be an exhibition of the art of Victor Vasarely, previously offered to the public in Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Sofia. Vasarely (1906-1997) is Internationally recognised as one of the most important artists of the 20th century and leader of the Op Art movement.
The programme will also offer other art exhibitions, as well as musical and literary events between July 30 and August 10.
